ITINERARY
Day 1 : Lima - Iquitos – Lodge
(L), (D)
Early in the morning we will pick you up
from your hotel in Lima and then we will
drive you to the airport of Lima in
order to take a morning flight to
Iquitos. Upon your arrival in Iquitos,
you will have a short tour around Belen
City. After this short tour a motorboat
will take you to your lodge located next
to the Amazon River. Once at the lodge
you will be accommodated at your
bungalow and then you will enjoy lunch.
In the afternoon you will visit the Bio-reserve
Amadeus where you will be able to
observe the immense Lupuna trees,
monkeys, mammals, insects, and reptiles.
At night, there will be an excursion to
listen the noises of the jungle. You
will spend the night at you bungalow.

Day 2 : Lodge

Early in the morning you will take a
canoe to observe different species of
birds (a short hike will be included.)
After this short excursion breakfast
will be served. Next, you will visit the
native community named “Yaguas” where
you will be able to observe their
customs, handcraft, and the use of the
blowpipe to chase animals. In the
afternoon you will have an excursion to
the “Yanayacu” river where you will be
able to fish piranhas and enjoy of a
beautiful sunset. At night, there will
be an excursion to listen the noises of
the jungle. You will spend the night at
you bungalow.
Day 3 : Lodge

Today, you will enjoy of an
intercultural day because you will share
daily chores with the natives. You will
sow, collect food, fish, prepare local
meals and typical drinks such as masato,
make handicrafts, and learn about
natural medicines. You will enjoy
breakfast and dinner at the lodge. A
cold lunch will be provided at the
community. You will spend the night at
you bungalow.
Day 4 : Lodge - Iquitos - Lima
(B), (L), (D)
Early in the morning you will visit the
Monkey Island and then you will visit
the town of “Timicuro” where you will be
able to observe their customs,
architecture, and medicinal shamans. In
the afternoon a motorboat will take you
to Iquitos in order to take an evening
flight to Lima.
Upon your arrival in Lima we will take
you to your hotel.
