AIRPORT TAXES & PASSPORT

When you are in Peru and
you need to take a plane to fly inside
or outside Peru, you will need to pay
airport taxes. Airport taxes need to be
paid after checking in and before going
through Security. It is important to
know that you need to pay airport when
you depart from any airport in Peru. In
other words, you do not need to pay
airport taxes when you arrive.
When you fly from the airport of Lima,
Jorge Chavez, you will need to pay USD
6.82 when you flight inside Peru and USD
31.00 when you flight outside Peru. When
you fly from other airports in Peru, you
will need to pay about USD 5.00. If you
are going to fly over the Nasca Lines,
you will need to pay about USD 7.50.
In order to enter Peru, it is necessary
to have a passport that is valid for at
least 6 months. Once you enter Peru as a
tourist, you will be able to stay up to
90 days. The Peruvian government does
not require a visa for US and Canadian
citizens as well as the majority of
